As previously announced, at 5:30pm on January 19, 2017, at sunset the eve of the Inauguration, more than 500 theaters, ensembles and companies, high school and university theater programs will gather across the country to light a light and make a pledge to stand for and protect the values of inclusion, participation, and compassion for everyone - regardless of race, class, religion, country of origin, immigration status, (dis)ability, gender identity, or sexual orientation.

A staged reading of a new musical 'Petrified,' is scheduled for private performances at Cap21 studios May 19th and 20th. Part comedy, part drama, part satire with a lot of heart, 'Petrified' is the story about a middle-American family trying to keep their lives together during this century's Great Recession.
On March 13, the night Rocky opened on Broadway, Late Show with David Letterman imagined the next musical to be based on a Sylvester Stallone movie, Rambo the Musical-featuring a guy in full Rambo regalia (tank top, bandanna headband, machine gun) singing…"A Whole Lot of Livin' to Do" from Bye Bye Birdie! Gavin Lodge, last seen on Broadway in the Annie revival, played Rambo in the segment. Lodge, BroadwayWorld's Gypsy of the Month in December 2012, understudied Tick in Priscilla Queen of the Desert and has also performed on Broadway in Spamalot and 42nd Street.
