On Saturday, February 8 at 8:00 PM, in the Terrace Theater of the Long Beach Performing Arts Center (300 E. Ocean Blvd), the Long Beach Symphony will celebrate the rich heritage of folk melodies from the United States and Mexico relived by 20th Century composers.

This weekend, the Gettysburg Community Theatre gave local performers an opportunity to sharpen their acting skills by taking classes with renowned Broadway star Gary Mauer. Mauer also made a special guest appearance at the theatre's 11th Annual Gala, held after Saturday's master classes. I was honored to have a chance to observe and participate in Mauer's teachings...

Performers from some of the biggest hits on Broadway recently raised funds for hurricane relief and recovery during the Broadway Sings for Florence concert on Monday, Oct. 22 at Raleigh's Meymandi Concert Hall in the Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts.

Noted conductor Jason Tramm will lead the  Axelrod Performing Arts Center's upcoming benefit concert "Any Dream Will Do" headlining the Tony award winning actress Christine Ebersole with featured soloists Gary Mauer, one of Broadway's Phantoms, Jim Schubin, who starred in Newsies at the Axelrod, and soprano Claire Leyden. The concert, which takes place at the Axelrod Performing Arts Center on Saturday Evening, October 13 in Deal, New Jersey will support the Axelrod PAC's Education Programming.
