If you're looking to HARVEST some laughter this fall, catch The Groundlings at the CORNer of Melrose and Poinsettia with their all-new comedy show, GROUNDLINGS OF THE CORN. Opening Night is Friday, October 6 and will include bar courtesy of Ninkasi Brewing Company with bites catered from a local hot spot. The only thing you'll be SACRIFICING is a boring night at home!

The Groundlings gang is back with comical abnormalities, deformities and a range of terrible fates as they present their newest side-splitting main stage show, Garbage Pail Groundlings, every Friday and Saturday evening. The Groundlings Theatre and School is proud to present its inaugural Diversity Festival on Saturday, July 29th and Sunday, July 30th celebrating and exploring diversity and inclusion. The weekend, co-sponsored by NBC and Nickelodeon, will include a series of panels and performances that will be free and open to the public. The festival will also host several diversity-related workshops exploring such topics as Embracing Your Diversity, Women of Color, Creating Diverse Characters, Queer-Prov and Teen Diversity. These two-hour workshops are $10 and registration will be open to the public.

Gary Austin presents Libby Skala in her internationally acclaimed play Lilia!, at The Groundlings Theatre on Monday, November 28 at 8pm.

Based on a true story, this one-act play written by and starring Groundlings' Annie Sertich puts a twist on the familiar one-woman show format. Not a typical show you'd find at The Groundlings, this exciting and different play about love and loss will take you on a rollercoaster ride of emotions asking yourself, 'Did this really happen?' and the answer is yes. As in usual Groundlings fashion, the show will definitely provide a lot of laughs. This show has been seen by sold out audiences during previous runs in Los Angeles and New York.

Australian comedian and mother of six, Jenny Wynter, is bringing her over-worked uterus to NYC for one night only, in her award-winning cabaret show, "An Unexpected Variety Show".

The Groundlings Main Company, alumni, teachers and students celebrated the opening of its new school facility known as The Groundlings School with a ribbon cutting ceremony. Winner of the 2014 SHITFA (Supreme Honorary Improvised Theater & Film Award) for Outstanding Genre Performance (THE SCARY, Improvised Stephen King), IRTE (the Improvisational Repertory Theatre Ensemble) kicks off their fourth season with Wow Wee! Adventures of a Little Girl Robot.

Winner of the 2014 SHITFA (Supreme Honorary Improvised Theater & Film Award) for Outstanding Genre Performance (THE SCARY, Improvised Stephen King), IRTE (the Improvisational Repertory Theatre Ensemble) kicks off their fourth season with Wow Wee! Adventures of a Little Girl Robot.

Winner of the 2013 Northern Virginia Theater Alliance Award for Best Production, Samuel A. Simon's THE ACTUAL DANCE, with original music by Eli Zoller, and directed by Kate Holland will play a limited engagement at the Studio Theatre (Theatre Row, 410 West 42nd Street). Performances are Saturday, January 10th at 2:00 pm through Sunday, February 1st at 3:00 pm.

THE ACTUAL DANCE, LLC is pleased to announce Samuel A. Simon's THE ACTUAL DANCE, directed by Kate Holland. THE ACTUAL DANCE will play a limited engagement at 1st Stage (1524 Spring Hill Road, Tysons, VA 22102). Performances begin Saturday, July 12 and continue through Sunday, July 27.

Heralding the modern era of comedic improv which begat new generations of film, TV and stage talent, the Groundlings Theatre & School is proudly marking its 40th anniversary this May. The 30-day celebration brings back some classic Groundlings shows as well as the new main stage show, 40 Is the New Groundlings, opening today, May 2.
