This holiday season the always merry Groundlings are bringing some laughter and cheer with the all new Groundlings Holiday Show! Los Angeles' premiere comedy troupe of 43 years will have you laughing until the New Year during the most wonderful time of year!

Director, Damon Jones, leads a cast of sugar plums and fairies including Michael Churven, Julian Gant, Kevin Kirkpatrick, Anne Lane, Andrew Leeds, Lyric Lewis, Jim Rash and Lisa Schurga. Doors open on Friday, December 1 at 8:00 p.m., and the show will run on Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. through December 23. Tickets are $25.00.

The fun doesn't stop there. Celebrate the end of 2017 at the Groundlings New Year's Eve Celebration. The special improv performance will take place on Sunday, December 31 with specialty cocktails and gourmet appetizers served at 9:00 p.m., followed by a special two-hour improv show featuring Groundlings performers and the house band beginning at 10:00 p.m. At midnight, everyone will join in a champagne toast and delectable deserts. Tickets for the celebration are $100.00.

The Groundlings Theatre is an improvisation and sketch comedy theatre that has been entertaining LA audiences for 42 years. They are a non-profit organization founded by Gary Austin in 1974. A "Groundling" is one of the 30 company members who write and perform in the theatre's shows and teach classes at the Groundling's School. The school has been the foremost comedy training ground in Hollywood and the springboard for countless careers including comic geniuses from film and television such as Jennifer Coolidge, Will Ferrell, Ana Gasteyer, Kathy Griffin, Cheryl Hines, Chris Kattan, Lisa Kudrow, Phil LaMarr, Jon Lovitz, Karen Maruyama, Melissa McCarthy, Michael McDonald, Paul Reubens, Maya Rudolph, Mindy Sterling and Kristen Wiig, among others. In addition to being comedy performers, Groundlings members and alumni hold writing positions on many of Hollywood's top television and film projects.
