The holidays are upon us and that means the Gay Men's Chorus of Washington DC (GMCW) is presenting their much-anticipated annual holiday musical present---an engaging package of song and dance, The Holiday Show, for the LGBTQ+ community (and, hopefully, for the larger DMV community as well).

The joyous holiday sleighride of rich musical moments and enthusiastic commitment continues as the Gay Men’s Chorus of Washington (GMCW) presents The Holiday Show. This dedicated group has entertained the LGBTQ community for decades and it is refreshing to see them live in concert at their holiday offering. GMCW has plunged ahead during this daunting era with their effective outreach and fine virtual offerings, but it was so delightful to see them live in concert once again.  These grueling times demand a little lift, and this is the group that can fill the bill with top-notch musical energy.

Are you the next Broadway or pop sensation? The Tony Award-winning Signature Theatre in Arlington, VA is hosting the 'Signature Voice' competition on July 23rd during the theater's annual Open House. Held in Signature's MAX Theatre, the competition will host a panel of three celebrity judges in search of the best undiscovered singers in the DC region.

Are you the next Broadway or pop sensation? The Tony Award-winning Signature Theatre in Arlington, VA is launching the first 'Signature Voice' competition on August 2nd during the theater's annual Open House.  The new 'Signature Voice' competition will replace the popular Signature Idol Competition held over the last five years.  Held in Signature's MAX Theatre, the competition will host a panel of three celebrity judges in search of the best undiscovered singers in the DC region.

Klea Blackhurst returned to Birdland, her musical home, on Monday, January 10, with a fresh show of stories and songs from the American Songbook and Broadway. Jim Caruso's Cast Party, the wild open mic night that celebrates the Broadway, pop and jazz communities, followed the concert.
