Cooper & Pine are GQ's 'Men of the Year'

GQ online has offered a sneak peak of its selections for Men of the Year before the magazines hit newsstands this week.  The annual GQ Men of the Year awards gives GQ magazine's 800,000 readers the chance to vote for the most influential figures in a variety of fields over the past year. Among the honorees this year are stage and stars Bradley Cooper and Chris Pine are included this year's list.

President Barack Obama won in the "Leader of the Year," Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis and Ed Helms-the stars of The Hangover-are "Funnymen of the Year," Chris Pine (who played Captain Kirk in the new Star Trek film) is "Breakout of the Year," New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is "Comeback of the Year," and Clint Eastwood won "Badass of the Year."

Bradley Cooper has appeared on Broadway opposite Julia Roberts inThree Days of Rain and co-starred in The Williamstown Theatre Festival's production of The Understudy. His The Hangover grossed $276 million at the box office.  He has appeared in Alias alongside Jennifer Garner, in addition to the recent films Wedding Crashers and He's Just Not That Into You. 

Chris Pine, went from virtual unknown to international sensation for his portrayal as a young Captain Kirk in the newest Star Trek installment.  He additionally starred in the Geffen Playhouse's production of Farragut North and Off-Broadway in The Atheist.
