The Sandra Feinstein-Gamm Theatre (The Gamm) will open its debut season in its new Warwick home on October 11 with Tennessee Williams' The Night of the Iguana. This shift from a previously scheduled September opening will allow The Gamm to start its 2018-2019 season with renovations to its performance space fully completed and the venue ready for audiences.

Trinity Rep closes out its 2017-18 Season with the Tony Award-winning musical Ragtime, which was written by Terrence McNally (book), Stephen Flaherty (music), and Lynn Ahrens (lyrics). Under the direction of Artistic Director Curt Columbus, Trinity Rep's production examines how the musical, which is set in 1906, reflects the country's current political and social climate. Based on the celebrated 1975 novel of the same name by E.L. Doctorow, the musical tackles race, women's rights, immigration, and workers' rights. Ragtime runs April 26 - May 27 in Trinity Rep's Elizabeth and Malcom Chace Theater, with press opening on Monday, April 30 at 7:30 pm. Tickets start at $25. Babson College is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Sorenson Center for the Arts on February 26, 2018. Richard MBA'68, P'97, P'00 and Sandra P'97, P'00 Sorenson will be back on campus to celebrate the success of their generous gift. Thanks to their support, BabsonARTS is able to present a diverse and impressive array of theater, dance, music, film, video, literary art, and visual arts programming to the Babson community.

Trinity Repertory Company will open William Shakespeare's Othello in February. This production continues Trinity Rep's long tradition of generating productions of Shakespearean plays that are relevant and accessible to adult and student audiences throughout Rhode Island and southeastern Massachusetts. Under the direction of Brown/Trinity Rep MFA alumna Whitney White '15, the powerful play will explore military themes, as well as the friendships and relationships that form the basis for the legendary story of betrayal and jealousy. The play runs approximately two hours and 20 minutes with one 15 minute intermission. Othello runs February 15 through March 18, with press opening on Monday, February 19 at 7:30 pm.
