There's just one month left to vote for the 2018 BroadwayWorld Brazil Awards, brought to you by BroadwayHD! Nominations were reader-submitted and now our readers are already setting records as they vote for their favorites. Regional productions, touring shows, and more are all included in the awards, honoring productions which opened between October 1, 2017 through September 30, 2018. Our local editors set the categories, our readers submitted their nominees, and now you get to vote for your favorites! Voting will continue through December 31st, 2018.

Cantando na Chuva (Singin' in the Rain) leads the list with 11 nominations, followed by Romeu + Julieta, Natasha, Pierre e o Grande Cometa de 1812 and Peter Pan with nine. The Reverencia Award is the only theatrical prize in Brazil, aimed at musical theater, that includes simultaneously spectacles of the cities of Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo. The ceremony will be on November 13, at Teatro Alfa, Sao Paulo.

'My Fair Lady' leads the list with 11 nominations, followed by 'Suassuna - O Auto do Reino do Sol', with ten. The Reverencia Award is the only theatrical prize in Brazil, aimed at musical theater, that includes simultaneously spectacles of the cities of Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo. The ceremony will be on September 27, in Rio de Janeiro.

Regarded as one of most popular musicals of all time, the classic My Fair Lady turns 60 and receives this month a new theatrical production signed by the Director Jorge Takla. With a great cast and live orchestra, the show - based on the classic Pygmalion by George Bernard Shaw - tells the story of an aristocrat teacher, Mr. Henry Higgins, who takes up the challenge to transform the poor Eliza Doolittle, street vendor without any refinement, in a society lady. With luxurious scenery and costumes, the show will have place at the Santander Theatre, in Sao Paulo, between August 27 and November 6, 2016.

The cast of JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR performed for the press today. Three numbers have been shown: 'I Don't Know How To Love Him', staring Negra Li, 'Gethesemade', presented by Igor Ricki in the role of Jesus Christ, and the hit 'Superstar', with Alirio Neto and all the company. The portuguese version was made by Luciano Andreys and Bianca Tadini. Wellington Nogueira as Herod and Fred Silveira as Pilate also deserve attention. Both of them are great in their roles. Besides the main cast, Beto Sargentelli stands out performing in the role of Simon Zealots.
