The Late Show with Stephen Colbert has been taped at the Ed Sullivan Theatre located on Broadway between 53rd and 54th Streets since it began in 2015. Before the Broadway-loving Colbert took over The Late Show, the host was David Letterman, who ruled late night from 1993 onward via his perch at 1697 Broadway.

The Library of Congress has acquired rare music and lyric sketches from composer Harold Arlen and lyricist E.Y. “Yip” Harburg, best known for their collaboration on the score of “The Wizard of Oz” in 1939.

Surflight Theatre is opening their 2025 Season with the West End smash hit musical Irving Berlin's Top Hat. Adapted for the stage by Matthew White and Howard Jacques, and directed and choreographed by Paula Hammons Sloan.

The 5/4 show took us through highlights of Berk's CDs, including her latest release, FOUR SEASONS OF SONG: SPRING. Berk is a compelling storyteller with a warm presence and voice and good humor. FOR THE RECORD captures her essence.
