A staged reading of COME FROM AWAY, by David Hein and Irene Sankoff, will be presented at Toronto's Panasonic Theatre today, March 18 with showtimes of 3 pm and 8 pm. COME FROM AWAY was first developed and presented as a 45-minute reading as part of the inaugural Canadian Music Theatre Project in 2012. Expanded to a two-act musical, this staged reading follows sold-out presentations at Connecticut's Goodspeed Opera House as part of the Festival of New Artists in January, and a two-week run at Theatre Sheridan in February.
