Theatre fans and critics were all in attendance for the Opening Night of Forever Plaid on Sunday, May 6 at Theatre at the Center in Munster. Matt Edmonds, in the role of Sparky, Adam LaSalle as Francis, Yando Lopez as Jinx and Christopher Ratliff as Smudge star in Theatre at the Center's spring musical. Performances continue through June 3.

This production will also mark the continuation of their year-long celebration of the 50th ANNIVERSARY of the very building we do all of their productions in - the Lakewood Playhouse Theatre. From TAMING OF THE SHREW in its first year to AVENUE Q at the end of this season, Lakewood will have presented over 300 productions at this venue, which was first built in 1965 by the Lakewood Arts Foundation.

Porchlight Music Theatre and Artistic Director Michael Weber present the first production in the third season of Chicago's smash "lost" musicals in staged concert series, Porchlight Revisits…BABES IN ARMS, featuring book by Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart, music by Rodgers and lyrics by Hart, with direction by Jess McLeod, music direction by Alex Newkirk and musical staging by James Beaudry. BABES IN ARMS is presented for three-nights-only through tonight, Oct. 8 at 7:15 p.m. and is performed on the set of Porchlight's SIDE SHOW (September 11 - October 25) on nights when there are no performances at Stage 773, 1225 W.
