Come see the new movie ROBOT & FRANK starring acclaimed Broadway actor Frank Langella! A winner at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival, Jake Schreier helms this new critically hailed film about Frank, an ex-jewel thief, and his new caretaker robot who helps him to get back into the business.

According to Deadline.com, Frank Langella is in talks to play Father Tucker in Grace of Monaco opposite Nicole Kidman in the title role of Princess Grace Kelly, as well as Tim Roth as Prince Rainier III. The film will be directed by Oliver Dahan, who helmed La Vie en Rose.

Kansas City Repertory Theatre opens its 48th season with the Tony Award-nominated musical Pippin, which features a score by Grammy-winner Stephen Schwartz and book by Roger O. Hirson. The Rep's artistic director Eric Rosen will direct the musical, which runs September 14-October 7 in Spencer Theatre.

On August 25, Noel Himmelstein, a theatre/opera director and teacher based in Manhattan, will present a master class at Newnan Theatre Company.

As a special homage to Theodore Mann, Circle in the Square's co-founder, artistic director, and co-producer who passed away on February 24th of this year, Circle in the Square Theatre School is inviting the theater-going public, the theater community and those who worked with him to share their remembrances of Mann and the over 175 productions that he with Jose Quintero, and later with Paul Libin brought to the stage.

For over twenty-five years, the late Bradshaw Smith (Founder & Executive Producer of "Broadway Beat" and Applause Video) was the theater world's preeminent videographer, capturing over 1,000 performances on Broadway, off-Broadway, in cabaret halls and beyond that now, because of him, live on today. Bradshaw Smith died on January 16, 2012, at age 57, following a sudden and severe stroke. To conclude the intimate memorial, Bradshaw's longtime friend and editor, Jonathan Frank, compiled the best of Bradshaw's work as a video artist. As first reported on Deadline.com, Susan Sarandon and Jennifer Coolidge are set to lend their voices to the upcoming stop-motion comedy HELL & BACK from ShadowMachine. The actors join previously announced cast members Nick Swardson, TJ Miller, Maria Bamford , Mila Kunis, Bob Odenkirk, and Rob Riggle.

According to published reports, Broadway playwright Henry Denker passed away on May 15 from lung cancer. He was 99 years old.

Sideways The Play, adapted by Rex Pickett from his own novel, plays in its world premiere by the Ruskin Group Theatre in Los Angeles, tonight, May 18 through July 22, Fridays-Saturdays at 8pm, and Sundays at 2pm. It is the story of two friends - Miles and Jack - and their journey across the Santa Ynez wine country, on one last blowout trip before Jack gets married. Miles and Jack must face their uncertain futures…just as soon as they figure out how to survive their chaotic present.
