The Lakewood Playhouse will present the second show of its 78th Season: the American holiday classic - IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE, adapted from the film by Frank Capra.

Step back in time to the 1940s. Become the live studio audience for a radio broadcast of this American holiday favorite. True to Frank Capra's cinematic classic, everyman George Bailey must learn that "no man is a failure who has friends" (and a little divine intervention). Experience 'It's a Wonderful Life' live and in color with five actors performing the voices of dozens of characters while creating foley sound effects.

The 14/48 Projects continues its holiday tradition with Theater Anonymous presents It's a Wonderful Life on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 8:00 pm. This special stage adaptation of the timeless classic It's a Wonderful Life plays one-night-only in the Cornish Playhouse at Seattle Center.  It's not just a heartwarming play; it's a gala party, it's a singular feat of theatrical daring, and it's a great way to kick off your holiday season!

American Blues Theater continues its 2016-2017 Season with the 15th Anniversary Production of the holiday favorite It's a Wonderful Life: Live in Chicago! The production, based on the beloved Frank Capra's film, is directed by Producing Artistic Director Gwendolyn Whiteside with music direction by Michael Mahler. It's a Wonderful Life runs November 18 - December 31, 2016 at the Greenhouse Theater Center, 2257 N. Lincoln Ave. in Chicago.
