The Actors Studio Drama School 2018 Repertory Season closed its seven-week series of exciting and challenging theater productions with Boeing Boeing by Marc Camoletti, translated by Beverley Cross and Francis Evans. The season features the work of the graduating MFA Acting, Directing, and Playwriting students who collaborate on professionally produced productions presented at 3LD Art & Technology Center.
In the years before computers and cell phones to assist Bernard with scheduling, he uses a datebook and the world globe sitting on his desk to keep track of where each of the three stewardesses he plans to marry will be travelling, and has managed to keep 'one up, one down and one pending.' But Bernard's life is about to get incredibly bumpy when his friend, Robert (pratfall expert Brian O'Sullivan), comes to stay and unexpected schedule changes bring all three women to Paris and Bernard's apartment at the same time. And with Robert meeting all these lovely ladies for the first time on the same day, he soon forgets which lies to tell to whom to keep Bernard out of the doghouse. Hilarity ensues!

Stagecrafters Youth Theatre kicks things off in July with the beloved Disney's Beauty and the Beast Jr., a classic fairy tale about a spoiled prince in an enchanted castle who must learn how to truly love in order to break the spell that has turned him into a hideous beast. With award-winning score and a host of enchanted characters, the show is sure to be fun for all ages. This Disney Junior spectacular will be performed by actors ages 8-18.

Set in 1960s Paris, Boeing Boeing is a non-stop, high flying farce which tells the story of Bernard, who has Italian, German, and American fiancees who are all airline stewardesses. Bernard must juggle timetables, while his maid is constantly changing photographs of the women in order to ensure his three fiances never cross paths. Chaos ensues when Bernard's friend Robert comes to stay and a speedier Boeing jet disturbs his organization and all three fiances end up in his apartment at the same time.

This classic fast paced comedy will be performed in our April slot in place of Italian American Reconciliation, bringing close calls, slamming doors and lots of physical comedy to light up the stage. Auditions will be held on Friday, February 23rd from 6 - 8 PM in the theatre. Please come with a prepared monologue. You may also be asked to read cuttings from the script. Little Fish Theatre has announced new dates for the remainder of the company's 2017 Season. Due to this winter's record rainstorms, the theatre was forced to go dark in order to complete emergency electrical repairs. As a result, the original performance schedule was reconfigured. Quartet was moved to the 2018 Season lineup, but all other productions will see the light of day in this calendar year.
