Urban Stages' Award Winning Series WINTER RHYTHMS Begins Performances Tomorrow

Continuing its 35th Anniversary season, Urban Stages (Frances Hill, Founding Artistic Director; Tom Toce Producer) proudly announces the line-up for this year's award-winning series, WINTER RHYTHMS 2018, which will begin Wednesday, December 12 featuring some of New York's best musical performances through Saturday,December 22, 2018 at Urban Stages Theatre (259 West 30th Street, just East of 8th Avenue).

NY's All-Irish Theatre Festival ORIGIN'S 1ST IRISH Kicks Off January 9

The 2019 Origin's 1st Irish Theatre Festival, New York's all-Irish theatre festival and the world's only festival devoted exclusively to producing the plays of contemporary Irish playwrights from around the world, settles in to its new January time slot, running three weeks from January 9 to 28. A total 17 events, including six mainstage productions from Belfast, Derry, Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Queens and Manhattan, will be seen in and out of competition. Among the productions, five are US premieres; one is a world premiere. 15 contemporary Irish writers are represented with work in performance.

Andrea Wolff's 'I Can't Trace Time' Moves To Laurie Beechman

Andrea Wolff's I Can't Trace Time, a passionate and whimsical musical memoir, will play one more show in December, moving to the Laurie Beechman Theatre on 12/10 at 6pm. With a signature mixture of pop and Broadway and an ensemble led by Music Director Jude Obermuller, I Can't Trace Time features a master entertainer who has been widely lauded for her strong comic timing, offbeat and compelling characterizations and superb taste in music. Special Guest Artist, guitarist Sean Harkness will appear. The show is directed by 2018 MAC and Bistro Award winning writer-actor, Dan Ruth. Drexel Announces 2019 Lineup For AMERICA'S GREATEST FILMS

The historic Drexel Theatre today announced the lineup for its 2019 America's Greatest Films series, made possible through a generous gift from PNC Bank. Launched in 2017 as a thank you to the community, the series offers free screenings of some of the nation's most beloved classic films on the first Tuesday of each month with a pre-screening introduction and post-screening Q&A.

New Conservatory Theatre Center Presents Beautiful And Brutal Drama, LATE COMPANY

In January, New Conservatory Theatre Center presents Late Company, written by "the hottest name in Canadian theatre" (The Montreal Gazette), Jordan Tannahill and directed by fearless local sensation, Evren Odcikin. This gripping, fast-paced drama centers around a family grappling to find meaning and redemption after the suicide of their son, who was frequently bullied about his sexuality. In keeping with NCTC's foundation of anti-bullying activism and prevention, Late Company is proud to partner with No Bully, Queer Life Space, and San Francisco Suicide Prevention to increase awareness of the effects of cyberbullying on LGBT youth.

THE OATH Receives Second Season on Sony Crackle

Sony Crackle announced today that season two of the original drama series 'The Oath,' from executive producer Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson and his G-Unit Film and Television Inc. and creator/executive producer/writer Joe Halpin, will return to the free streaming network with 8 all-new episodes on Thursday, February 21. The network also released first-look images from the new season.

BANA-GHAISGICH/HEROINES Will Preview in London
