Line-Up Announced For 31st Annual RHINOCEROS THEATER FESTIVAL

The Rhinoceros Theater Festival celebrates its 31st year with six weeks of performances from January 11 - February 23, 2020 at Prop Thtr, 3502 N. Elston Ave. in Chicago. This year's Rhino Fest features 48 shows, including new plays, dance, devised works, variety, music, performance, and fresh takes on classic texts. Cataldo Announces New Album LITERALLY MAIN STREET

Cataldo is thrilled to announce the upcoming release of Literally Main Street, due out September 27th. The John Vanderslice produced LP is the follow up to the critically praised album Keepers, which in addition to kudos from American Songwriter, The Stranger, and Brooklyn Vegan, won attention from Stereogum for bridging “pensive indie rock stylings with rhythmically complex pop worthy of an '80s teen movie's closing credits.” Today Cataldo, the moniker for Seattle musician Eric Anderson's creative output, is sharing the music video for the new single “Ding Dong Scrambled Eggs”, which Flood Magazine praises as “stormy and evocative.” This fall, Cataldo hits the road for dates up and down the east and west coasts. Compagnia De' Colombari Presents MORE OR LESS I AM In Celebration Of Walt Whitman's 200th Birthday

Compagnia de' Colombari, an international collective of performing artists founded and directed by Karin Coonrod,celebrates the bicentennial of the birth of America's most influential poet, Walt Whitman, with a revival of their acclaimed production More Or Less I Am. New York Premiere Of BABETTE'S FEAST Will Begin An Open-Ended Off-Broadway Engagement

Based on the short story by Isak Dinesen (and made famous by the 1987 Academy Award-winning film), Babette's Feast will begin performances Wednesday March 14th at the Theatre at Saint Clement's (423 West 46th Street, between Ninth & Tenth Avenues) for an open-ended Off-Broadway engagement.  Opening Night is set for Sunday March 25th (5pm).  The performance runs 90 minutes with no intermission.

BWW Review: Swipe Right for BAD DATES

BAD DATES remount at Huntington Theatre Company reunites Director Jessica Stone and actor Haneefah Wood who worked together in HTC's VANYA AND SONIA AND MASHA AND SPIKE (2015). Put aside any qualms you may have about one-person plays because Theresa Rebeck has conjured up a character with a multitude of sparkly facets and Wood is luminous while bringing her to life. Performances have been extended to March 3rd.

Theatrical Outfit Receives $150,000 Grant From Community Foundation For Greater Atlanta

Theatrical Outfit has received a grant from the Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta, Inc. in the amount of $150,000 over a two year period to support the general operations of the Organization. The downtown professional theatre received the exciting news on October 25th, and was presented with the check by James Tobias, Major Gifts Officer at the Community Foundation, on Thursday, November 16th. In attendance at the formal presentation were Theatrical Outfit Artistic Director Tom Key, TO Board Chair Stephanie Watkins, TO Trustees Tommy Barrow, Charlie Henn, and Margaret Murphy, TO Assoc. Artistic Director Clifton Guterman, and TO Director of Communications and Development Tess Malis Kincaid.
