Bill Pullman Joins Cast of THE OTHER PLACE as 'Ian' Today

Manhattan Theatre Club announced that Bill Pullman ('1600 Penn;' The Goat, or Who Is Sylvia?) will join the cast of The Other Place starting today, February 5 at MTC's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre (261 West 47th Street). Pullman will assume the role of Ian.

Bette Midler's I'LL EAT YOU LAST Tickets Available to AmEx Cardholders Today

Tickets will go on sale today, February 2 at 10 AM exclusively for American Express cardholders for Bette Midler's return to Broadway in John Logan's new play I'LL EAT YOU LAST: A CHAT WITH SUE MENGERS, directed by Joe Mantello. Shakespeare Theatre to Present 'Hero/Traitor Repertory' with CORIOLANUS and WALLENSTEIN, 3/28-6/2

The Shakespeare Theatre Company, recipient of the 2012 Regional Theatre Tony Award, probes the burdens of leadership and the price of power in its Hero/Traitor Repertory of Coriolanus and Wallenstein. In the hands of The Studio Theatre's Artistic Director David Muse and STC's Artistic Director Michael Kahn, this pairing of Shakespearean and German epics challenges the concept of control among military and government institutions. Coriolanus and Wallenstein play at Sidney Harman Hall (610 F Street NW) from March 28-June 2, 2013.

Manhattan Theatre Club announces the guests for the upcoming Sloan panel discussing Sharr White's The Other Place. The panel will focus on the role of science in the play and will feature novelist Stefan Merrill Block, author of The Story of Forgetting; playwright Sharr White; neuroscientist Heather Berlin; and genetic counselor Jill Goldman. The panel will be moderated by NPR's Robert Krulwich. The panel will follow the 2 PM matinee performance today, January 27 at MTC's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre (261 West 47th Street).
