THE FORSYTE SAGA PARTS 1 AND 2 Transfers to the RSC

Following a critically acclaimed sell-out run at Park Theatre, Troupe’s world première production of The Forsyte Saga Parts 1 and 2, adapted by Shaun McKenna and Lin Coghlan from the novels by John Galsworthy, transfers to the RSC this winter.

John Galsworthy’s classic story The Forsyte Saga has been newly dramatised for the stage in two parts for the Park Theatre, bringing the unheard female voices to the fore for the first time. Spanning 40 years from the last gasp of the Victorian age to the beginning of the roaring 1920s, this is an epic tale of sex, money and power.

Casting has today been announced for Touching The Void. Following critically acclaimed runs at the Bristol Old Vic, Royal & Derngate, Northampton, Royal Lyceum Theatre Edinburgh, Hong Kong Festival and on Tour in the UK Tom Morris' production of Touching the Void will see original cast members Fiona Hampton, Patrick McNamee and Josh Williams return to the show, joined by Angus Yellowlees. The show will open in the West End at the Duke of York's Theatre previewing from November 9th for a strictly limited season with an opening night of November 14th.

Shakespeare's Globe Announces Full Casting For Oliver Chris's RALEGH: THE TREASON TRIAL

Shakespeare's Globe has announced the full cast of Ralegh: The Treason Trial, compiled, edited, dramatized and directed by Oliver Chris. A verbatim account of what played out on that extraordinary November morning in 1603, the production has been compiled and edited from sources present at the trial itself. It will premiere in Winchester Great Hall from Friday 16 November, the location of the original trial 415 years ago, before opening in the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse on Saturday 24 November for a limited one week run.

2018 marks the 10th anniversary of the Rose Theatre Kingston. Part of the celebrations sees Much Ado About Nothing take centre stage, directed by Simon Dormandy. Having played the role of Claudio early in his career, John Hopkins returns to the play to take on the role of Benedick.
