Popular New York street artist Lady K-Fever will join more than 100 NYC public school students in the Bronx portion of what is one of the largest public displays of student art in New York City. LEAP's Rising Voices: Bronx Student Public Art Exhibition will be held Tuesday, June 19, at Claremont Park, 3:30 pm to 5 pm. The event location is in the northern end of Claremont Park, just south of the park house and gazebo. Students from six Bronx classes in three schools will display ordinary cafeteria tables turned into social justice murals advocating for issues of concern to the students.

Connecticut Repertory Theatre (CRT) announces the casting for the first production of the 2018 Nutmeg Summer Series: "Disaster!", the hilarious new musical straight from Broadway. CRT welcomes the co-writing team of the show, as Jack Plotnick will direct and three-time Emmy Award nominee and SiriusXM Broadway host Seth Rudetsky will reprise the role he originated on Broadway (Ted Schneider). In just over two weeks, Iceland's Secret Solstice festival will again take place in the world's most northerly capital city, Reykjavik, for its fifth edition during 96 hours of continuous sunlight from June 21-24, 2018. Cortland Repertory Theatre kicks off their 47th annual summer season at the Little York Pavilion in Preble with the hysterical ship-board comedy Rough Crossing, written by Tom Stoppard which he "freely adapted" from Ferenc Molnar's comedy Play At The Castle.
