Write Out Loud - an organization founded in 2007 with a commitment to inspire, challenge and entertain by reading literature aloud for a live audience presents The American West, the final production in their American Season XI, a season that focuses on American stories by American authors. Write Out Loud Story Concerts bring literature to life - aloud - with rehearsed readings by professional actors. Each program explores specific themes by weaving a variety of stories and poems together into a literary tapestry. The American West features San Diego performers Fran Gercke, Jessica John Gercke, Susan Clausen, Veronica Murphy and Walter Ritter.  A complimentary pre-show reception starts at 6:15pm with a 7:00pm curtain.

On Saturday, June 2, Rooftop Films will return to Green-Wood Cemetery for the New York Premiere of the hilarious Western-comedy Damsel. The evening will feature live music and an after-party with drinks from Corona Extra, Ketel One Family Made Vodka, and Fever-Tree. Filmmakers David and Nathan Zellner will be in attendance for a post-screening Q&A.

Grammy-nominated band Panic! At The Disco today released 'High Hopes', the third track off their highly anticipated sixth studio album, Pray For The Wicked. Listen to the song HERE. Three-time Tony Award nominee and Laurence Olivier Award winner Andy Karl will star as 'Edward Lewis' in PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL on Broadway. Karl will assume the role from Steve Kazee who departs the production for family reasons.

Walnut Street Theatre concludes its landmark 209th season with the ultimate feel-good musical, MAMMA MIA! Filled with ABBA's catchiest hits, and directed and choreographed by Richard Stafford, this high energy musical begins previews on May 15th, opens on May 23rd, and runs through July 15th on the Walnut Mainstage.

The ABC Television Network announces May sweeps programming, airing through May 23, including series finales of 'Once Upon a Time,' airing May 18; and 'The Middle,' which completes its nine-year run with a special one-hour episode on May 22.

Now in rehearsals, Steppenwolf Theatre Company is thrilled to present Guards at the Taj, a stunning tale about the search for beauty in desperate circumstances, written by acclaimed playwright Rajiv Joseph (Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo). As previously announced, ensemble member Amy Morton directs this Chicago premiere, featuring the original cast members, Omar Metwally (Humayun) and Arian Moayed (Babur), who were last seen on Steppenwolf's stage together in Homebody/Kabul. Morton directed the critically acclaimed Off-Broadway world premiere, which won the 2016 Obie Award for Best New American Play.

Wednesdays this summer at The Marsh San Francisco will be a bit more poetic and then some, with the weekly offering of The Clyde Always Show beginning in July. The Bard of the Lower Haight's solo performance includes raucous, uplifting, and profoundly fun-loving zaniness, featuring shiver-giving tall-tales, foot-stomping songs, hilarious monologues-in-verse covering everything under the urban overhang, and more. Performed by Clyde Always with his trusty 'Haylee the Ukulele,' The Clyde Always Show, will be presented July 11-August 29, 2018 with performances at 8:00pm Wednesdays at The Marsh San Francisco

The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) is pleased to announce that A.R.T. Artistic Director Diane Paulus' hit production The Donkey Show will celebrate its 800th performance on June 2, 2018 at 10:30PM. To mark the occasion, A.R.T. is offering 80 dance floor tickets for just $10 each at performances throughout the month of June, subject to availability. Discounted tickets will be available for purchase beginning May 18.

The Public Theater (Artistic Director, Oskar Eustis; Executive Director, Patrick Willingham) will begin previews for a limited eight-week run of the Abbey Theatre and the Royal Court Theatre's acclaimed production of CYPRUS AVENUE on Saturday, June 2. The new play, written by David Ireland and directed by Royal Court Artistic Director Vicky Featherstone, features Stephen Rea, who last performed at The Public in 2008 in Sam Shepard's Kicking a Dead Horse. The run at The Public follows encore engagements at Dublin's Peacock Stage at the Abbey Theatre (April 30-May 19) and the MAC in Belfast (May 23-26). CYPRUS AVENUE will run through Sunday, July 29 in The Public's LuEsther Hall, with an official press opening on Monday, June 25.

The Cortland Repertory Theatre Box Office will open for all summer ticket sales for their 47th annual season starting on Monday, May 21st. The Box Office is located at 24 Port Watson Street in downtown Cortland, and is open Monday - Friday from 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM, and on Saturdays from noon - 6:00 PM. Once performances begin at the Little York Pavilion, the Box Office at that location is open 90 minutes before show time, on performance days only.
