Basquiat, a new musical about the life and times of 80's art-star, Jean Michele Basquiat will be given a private industry reading on December 13th at 3pm.

It's Broadway's long-running shows that keep Times Square bustling year-round with theatre-goers from around the world who are making it to the Great White Way for their first time. Mamma Mia!, which just moved to the Broadhurst Theatre, just celebrated its 5,000th perfromance on Broadway!

Basquiat, a new musical about the life and times of 80's art-star, Jean Michele Basquiat will be premiering a concert version of the show at Joe's Pub, December 16th and 7:30pm

On Saturday night, November 2, the Broadway community, family, and friends came together to celebrate the 50th birthday of the legendary Andrea McArdle. Tonight, September 30 (7pm), some of Broadway's biggest stars will sing a song or tell their story at an intimate Salon benefiting Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS at 210 Central Park South. Among the performers scheduled to appear are Maya Days, Meghann Fahy, Felicia Finley, Jose Llana, Andrea McArdle, N'Kenge, Chris Noth, Kate Shindle, Christopher Sieber and Kevin Spirtas.

Broadway's Charlotte d'Amboise (Pippin), Felicia Finley (Mamma Mia!) and Mara Davi (A Chorus Line, Smash) are set to perform tonight, September 29 at 7:30pm at NYU's Skirball Center for the Performing Arts (566 LaGuardia Place) where Oscar and Tony Award-winning actress Catherine Zeta-Jones will be honored at the NYC Dance Alliance Foundation's Bright Lights Shining Stars Gala, receiving their prestigiousAmbassador for the Arts Award. Also set to perform are Joanne Borts (Once), Clifton Brown (Jessica Lange Dance), Luke Spring (A Christmas Story) and Adrienne Warren (Bring it On).

Even the threat of rain didn't stop the biggest day of the year for Broadway fans from turning into a bright and sunny day for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS as the 27th Annual Broadway Flea Market & Grand Auction raised an outstanding $631,222.

More than 50 beloved and rising stars of stage and screen--including 19 Tony Award winners--signed autographs on Sunday, September 22, at the 27th Annual Broadway Flea Market & Grand Auction (#bwayflea), presented by and benefiting Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
