Ho visto molti spettacoli corali ma non capita spesso di assistere a uno spettacolo con quindici protagonisti in cui, in ultima analisi, ci sia un solo personaggio: la citta di New York. Perche e proprio New York che domina costantemente la scena, con i suoi rumori, i suoi ritmi frenetici, i suoi monolocali costosi, i suoi abitanti che a milioni ne percorrono quotidianamente le strade, ciascuno talmente preso dai propri affari e dai propri pensieri da non percepire quello spirito unitario che rende la cittadinanza una comunita, piu che un agglomerato di individui.

Vincitore di ben 6 BroadwayWorld Italy Awards, arriva al Sistina in una nuova speciale edizione Georgie Il Musical, una intensa love story basata sul manga e poi cartone animato giapponese Lady Georgie scritto da Mann Izawa. Nell'attesa di assistere alla rappresentazione il prossimo 26 maggio, abbiamo intervistato la giovane protagonista Claudia Cecchini che si appresta ad affrontare nuovamente questo complesso personaggio.

Ken Ludwig had a worldwide hit with 'Lend Me a Tenor,' which was a throwback of sorts to the madcap physical British stage comedies of yesteryear. According to all the press materials for his play, 'A Fox on the Fairway,' this play is another tribute to the great English farces of the 1930s and 1940s. And truth be told there are many valid comparisons, but the comedy is of a far less polished and elegant form in his play (the female love interest actually says she needs to kiss her paramour's 'balls' for luck). This kind of low brow humor is found everywhere in 'A Fox on the Fairway.'

DIRTY DANCING, il celeberrimo film del 1987 diretto da Emile Ardolino, compie 30 anni e Federico Bellone non perde occasione di riportarlo al pubblico teatrale, dopo il grande successo del primo tour nella stagione 2014/2015 (esportato addirittura al West End di Londra, nonche in Messico). Con l'aiuto di Eleanor Bergstein, gia autrice della versione cinematografica, Bellone riproduce fedelmente la pellicola adattandola con forte efficacia al palcoscenico.
