'Bloop, Bleep?' 92Y's 48th season of Lyrics & Lyricists culminates with a look at the lesser-known side of Loesser - his Hollywood career collaborating with such composers as Hoagy Carmichael, Jule Style, Burton Lane and Jimmy McHugh - as well as a fresh look at songs from Guys and Dolls and his Broadway best, in Frank Loesser: Lyricist. The search for romance can often be a stressful one, and it can be easy to view relationships through a filter of bitterness and frustration. However, Theatre Harrisburg and their humorous, charming production of I LOVE YOU BECAUSE serves as a much-needed reminder that love, though not always easy, has a way of finding those who dare to seek it out.

92Y announces casting for a concert celebration of the acclaimed musical It Shoulda Been You on Monday, March 5.

The contribution of Jewish composers and lyricists to the Great American Songbook will be explored in a special concert event created, written, directed and hosted by NYC impresario Scott Siegel. Famous songs from the theater, movies, and pop that have become beloved standards -- all written by Jews -- will be highlighted. Expect to hear classics both old and new from the likes of Irving Berlin, Rodgers & Hart, The Gershwins, Leonard, Bernstein, Stephen Sondheim, and Jason Robert Brown, as well as hits made famous by their composers, Paul Simon, Billy Joel, and more.

After 15 years at The Town Hall, Scott Siegel's critically acclaimed BROADWAY UNPLUGGED concert event moved to a new address for its 16th season: Merkin Concert Hall. Other than the venue, however, Broadway Unplugged remains unchanged: it offers Broadway's greatest voices singing famous Broadway show tunes the way they used to be done before Broadway shows were miked: UNPLUGGED.

Tonight, November 18, 'Two's Company: Broadway's Great Duets,' a Merkin Concert Hall Broadway Close Up Presentation, will come to On Stage at Kingsborough. 'Two's Company' is an homage to the duet; the Broadway song that allows a show's stars to interact; to fight, flirt, and fall in love. From Irving Berlin to Stephen Sondheim to Leonard Bernstein, Two's Company, will celebrate great duets from hit Broadway shows such as The Book of Mormon, A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder and more.
