Ma-Yi Theater Company has announced that its historic production of Lonnie Carter's The Romance of Magno Rubio is currently streaming online through June 4, 2020, only.

Noted production designer Joey Mendoza makes his directorial debut in Repertory Philippines' (REP) production of Nilo Cruz's Pulitzer Prize-winning drama, Anna in the Tropics. The show runs from 13 March to 5 April 2020 at Onstage Theater, Greenbelt 1, Ayala Center, Makati City.

This production is, in a word - 'tight'. The many facets and elements of the script, costuming, sound, lighting, sets, direction, and cast are all notable in their own right. Ralph B. Peña is currently directing Ma-Yi's Felix Starro Off-Broadway at Theatre Row. The new musical is making an impact on both audience members and the history books as it marks the first time a musical created by Filipino-Americans will be presented Off-Broadway. Inspired by the world-renowned Fisk Jubilee Singers, this uplifting new work chronicles the bold African American ensemble as they travel the world, captivating kings, queens and audiences with hymns and spiritual songs supported by their rich voices. Written and directed by Thompson with vocal arrangements and music direction by Dianne Adams McDowell, Jubilee runs now through June 2, 2019 in the Kreeger Theater.
