Set in Maine, the film shot in NH's Squam Lake locations not far from the Playhouse, the art of the play is not in its settings but in the relationships that emerge from golden days and loving bonds - truth revealed in any locale. On Golden Pond is part of a thematic year of art - and artists - they're calling 'Made in America,' with work that speaks to what that means and how our very diversity actually unifies us in the iconography of discovery.
