Forty-Seven Percent Records, a division of Happy Panda Productions, have released a music video entitled 'Black Romney: Binders Full O Bitches' in which "Black Romney", a rapper version of Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney, expresses his disinterest in a variety of human beings, such as the unemployed, homosexuals, single mothers, and many others. Created, written and directed by Asian-American actress and comedienne Deborah S. Craig (CW's "Hart of Dixie") and starring Burl Moseley, this piece of political satire also features cameos by Broadway performers Jared Gertner (currently starring in the national tour of THE BOOK OF MORMON), Haviland Stillwell and Erin Quill. This past Wednesday and Thursday, host Jim Caruso and musical director Billy Stritch oversaw another Hollywood edition of Cast Party, the wildly successful open mic night, which tours the country celebrating local talent. The event, made up of impromptu musical performances, has been running every Monday at Birdland in New York City for the past eight years.
Klea Blackhurst returned to Birdland, her musical home, on Monday, January 10, with a fresh show of stories and songs from the American Songbook and Broadway. Jim Caruso's Cast Party, the wild open mic night that celebrates the Broadway, pop and jazz communities, followed the concert.

Joe Lodato and Matthew Morris, The Church of St. Paul the Apostle, GeekNerdWonk Charitable Foundation, and Sing for Hope presented 'You Are Not Alone' a star-studded concert to benefit the Trevor Project last night, November 22. Lea DeLaria hosted the evening with feature performances from Ricky Ian Gordon, Andrew Keenan-Bolger, Marc Kudisch, Aaron Lazar, Erin Quill, Seth Rudetsky, John Tartaglia, Jeanine Tesori, and Tony Yazbeck, as well as Emily Albrink, Jeff Blumenkrantz, Attila Joey Csiki of Lar Lubovitch Dance Company, Constantine Germanacos, Joe Lodato, Matthew Morris, Todd Palmer, Kate Pazakis, Kathleen Tagg, and Nurit Tilles. Michael Rader directed the concert with stage management from David M. Beris.
