Each spring HERE offers a window into the creative process of their nationally recognized HERE Artist Residency Program (HARP). For 21 years, this exploration of new work in development, previously known as the Culturemart Festival, has blurred the boundaries between theatre, music, dance, new media, and visual art. The 2020 edition, which runs February 23-March 1, not only features seven daring workshop presentations but a new name that better captures the essence of the experience: HERE RAW / Resident Artist Works.

This beloved annual tradition at Miller Theatre immerses the audience in the magical world of the animal kingdom, as the celebrated music of Carnival of the Animals is brought to life with charming and unconventional puppetry. Imaginations will be ignited as everyday objects take on new lives as lions, elephants, and birds in this classical holiday treat-sure to delight audiences of all ages.

The OBIE-winning HERE proudly presents CULTUREMART 2017, taking place March 15 - 25.  In this annual festival, CULTUREMART, process becomes the focus, offering a first look at live performance in various stages of development from the boundary-breaking artists in the HERE Artist Residency Program (HARP) as they journey to mainstage production.

The Illuminati Ball is indeed spectacular, though without divulging details I am sworn to keep secret, I cannot do justice to an experience which began on a rainy Saturday evening at 6PM on the Upper East Side---where a luxury limousine bus picked up 30 formally-attired 'candidates' for the Illuminati, and seven or so hours later, deposited what seemed like old friends to the same location---after a sumptuous eight-course meal by Erin Orr, craft cocktails by mixologist Bootleg Greg, and limitless red wine.

The Chicago Mammals remount their highly acclaimed production CLAY CONTINENT - JEKYLL AND HYDE. Inspired by the grotesque portraiture of Francis Bacon and the novel 'Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde', CLAY CONTINENT is an aural pageant of diabolical villainy constructed with excerpts of text from the stories of Robert Louis Stevenson, Fyodor Dostoyevsky, and Edgar Allen Poe.

Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts held a highly successful Spring Fling on May 9, with approximately 7,500 people enjoying free performances, craft projects, and fun and games as the 'opening day' for the expanded family offerings on the Lincoln Center campus.
