The Chicago Mammals Present 3rd Annual ALL GIRLS PROJECT
According to its mission statement, for The Chicago Mammals, the All Girl Project means: "With the ALL GIRL PROJECT the Chicago Mammals are committed to providing extreme and unique opportunities for Chicago actresses to play, produce, devise and perform in roles that are rarely (if ever) performed by women with an emphasis on turning traditional tales into raw, emotive, phantasmagoric concepts which can only be described as 'Mammalian'."
After a wildly successful debut of the ALL GIRL project with ALL GIRL MOBY DICK - hailed as "striking...and intense" by TimeOut Chicago and "visually stunning" by Chicago Theatre Beat- in the fall of 2012, Artistic Director Bob Fisher ramped up his All Girl efforts, continuing the following year with "customized, poetic redemption" (New City Stage) and sold out houses for ALL GIRL FRANKENSTEIN.
