SALON/SANCTUARY CONCERTS opens its fifth season with Ethan Peck, Florencia Lozano and Steven Rattazzi, joining Grammy-nominated musicians Jory Vinikour and Jose Lemos in the return of 'THE HEIRS OF TANTALUS' tonight, September 19 and the 21st, 2013.

Gregory Peck's grandson Ethan Peck (Ten Things I Hate About You), Florencia Lozano (One Life to Live, Red Dog Howls, Dirty Story), and OBIE-award winner Steven Rattazzi (The Venture Brothers) join soprano Jessica Gould,countertenor Jose Lemos, Grammy-nominated harpsichordist Jory Vinikour, and members of The Sebastians Chamber Orchestra to open the fifth season of Salon/Sanctuary Concerts with an expanded run of the critically acclaimed site-specific opera-theatre project, The Heirs of Tantalus: From the House of Atreus to the Palace of Nero.

After sold out shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Toronto, NYC, and recently in Pakistan Dirty Paki Lingerie by Aizzah Fatima directed by Erica Gould returns to NYC at The Flea Theater for a three week run from July 31 through August 18.

Degage, Coupe, Glissade, Croise... These are not only Steps in Ballet, but also Techniques of the Blade. Pointwork can be done with a Rapier as well as a Point Shoe. Translating the choreography of the duel to the language of ballet, this Benefit Performance for Salon/Sanctuary Concerts will feature the world premiere of a fiery and intimate pas de deux created for Jared Angle and Megan LeCrone, as well as a live presentation of the historically-based, fiercely beautiful sword fight (performed by a male and female fighter), upon which the ballet is based.

SCISSORING, a new play by Christina Quintana, will be presented as part of Columbia Stages' NEW PLAYS NOW Festival on Thursday May 2nd at 2:30pm, Saturday May 4th at 8pm, and Sunday May 5th at 2:30pm, at the Studio Theater in the Pershing Square Signature Center located at 480 W 42nd St New York, NY 10036.

Each July, 59E59 Theaters hosts a plethora of innovative US productions en route to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, the largest arts festival in the world. Created as a way to help shows get on their feet before flying off to Scotland, EAST TO EDINBURGH simulates the same production constraints that all shows experience during the Festival, while giving them a clean, comfortable and nurturing space to fine-tune their productions. This whirlwind three-week festival, featuring 16 productions, reflects some of the most adventurous theater from NY and across the US.

More Between Heaven and Earth, a 'play-with-music' about Thomas Jefferson, Maria Cosway, the French Revolution and the doctrine of Separation of Church and State, was performed for an enthusiastic and sold-out house at the Abigail Adams Smith Auditorium on Saturday, December 17th.

Internationally renowned actor, Golden Globe Winner, and multiple Emmy Nominee Matthew Modine and TONY-Award Nominee and Broadway Star Melissa Errico star in a unique dramatic presentation drawn from the passionate letters of Thomas Jefferson and painter/composer/musician Maria Cosway, intertwined with the performance of music mentioned in their correspondance, including works by Sacchini, Hewitt, and rarely performed compositions by Cosway herself.

TONY Award-Nominee Kathleen Chalfant has been announced to join Matthew Modine and Melissa Errico in the cast of MORE BETWEEN HEAVEN AND EARTH.

Saturday night, November 19th, Melissa Errico made her long awaited return to solo concert-ing at the newly renovated (beautifully) Joe's Pub. The venue was packed with family, friends and fans who, pretty much, went wild when she walked up onto the stage. She was accompanied by an unbelieveably expert trio of musicians led by the legendary John Oddo. The evening's music program was extremely well chosen and beautifully performed and sung. Errico's patter, storytelling and anecdotal skills were also on show, in top form and wildly entertaining.

The fully improvised live sitcom, Naked in a Fishbowl, returns to The Cherry Lane Theater. Opening Monday, October 17th and running through December 5th (dark November 28), Fishbowl will debut seven new outrageous 1-hour shows.
