The Contemporary Arts Center, New Orleans (CAC) is pleased to announce two performances of the provocative dance performance by FLOCK--The Lipstick--choreographed by local choreographer Meryl Murman and accompanied by a solo violin and a tube of lipstick. Both performances will take place in the CAC's Freeport-McMoRan Theater, with the first being the U.S. Premiere on September 30 and the final performance taking place as part of the 2016 CAC's Art for Arts' Sake | DOWNTOWN on October 1.

On February 22nd, ABC's 'Nashville' actor Kyle Dean Massey and other outstanding writers, performers and digital creators from Broadway, television, film and other mediums came together for the Broadway Unlocked #giveback concert - an interactive, livestreamed benefit concert celebrating the work of the Crime Victims Treatment Center (CVTC) of Mount Sinai West and St. Luke's Hospitals and Metropolitan Organization to Counter Sexual Assault (MOCSA) in Kansas City, MO.

Actors by day and Folk-Rock Stars by night.. Eryn Murman and Jason Hite's Band 5j Barrow just became the official Winners of the
WNYC's Ultimate Battle of the Boroughs. Hundreds of musical acts entered the competition and 5j Barrow went on to win the Manhattan battle a few months ago at The Greenespace. The final battle was held on Friday, June 27th against the other borough winners and 5j BARROW took the crown to become WNYC's # 1, 2014 Ultimate Battle Winners of NYC!

From hundreds of entries, twelve musical acts from across Manhattan were chosen by judges to compete on February 7, 2014 at The Greenespace. The 12 acts performed for a live audience, live stream and three judges, Caryn Havlik (producer of WNYC's New Sounds), Wes Jackson (Executive Director of the Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival) and Lindsey Cook (A&R Executive at RCA Records). Then, voters picked their top five bands. Now, after a week of voting, there's only one band standing. The WNYC, 2014 Manhattan winner in the Battle of the Boroughs is 5j BARROW!
