Ma-Yi Theater Company - which previously announced that Shelley Butler will direct the world-premiere play FRUITING BODIES by Asian-American playwright Sam Chanse - proudly announces KIMIYE CORWIN (Noises Off, Henry VI), EMMA KIKUE (God Said This, Up the Hill), JEFFREY OMURA (House Rules, Hamlet) and THOM SESMA (Superhero, Sweeney Todd) will star in the Off-Broadway production, which begins previews on April 23 prior to its official press opening on April 28 at Theatre Row (410 W. 42nd Street) in Manhattan.

Ako has been on screen with the likes of Jennifer Aniston and John Hurt, toured in musical productions and appeared in many regional theatre staples. Now she returns to the New York stage in God Said This.

Primary Stages is currently presenting God Said This, written by Leah Nanako Winkler (Two Mile Hollow) and directed by Morgan Gould (Kentucky). The show celebrated its opening last night, January 29, for a run through February 15, 2019 at Cherry Lane Theatre (38 Commerce St, New York, NY, 10014).

Primary Stages announces casting for God Said This, written by Leah Nanako Winkler (Two Mile Hollow) and directed by Morgan Gould (Kentucky). Performances begin at the Cherry Lane Theatre (38 Commerce St, New York, NY, 10014) on January 16, 2019 with opening night set for Tuesday, January 29, for a run through February 15, 2019.
