The Muny announced today the directors, choreographers and music directors for The Muny's 2018 centennial season, which opens on June 11 with the first production in the world of Jerome Robbins' Broadway since it's Tony - award winning Broadway and national tour productions.

Lauren Kennedy started her career at the North Carolina Theatre, having performed in many of their productions since she was 7 years old. She went on to appear on Broadway in Sunset Boulevard (original cast), Side Show (original cast), Les Miserables (Fantine), and Monty Python's Spamalot (The Lady of the Lake). Her other performing credits include Betty Schaefer in Sunset Boulevard (first national tour), Judy Haines in Irving Berlin's White Christmas (World Premiere), Cathy Hiatt in The Last Five Years (World Premiere), Nellie Forbush in South Pacific (London), Holly Golightly in Breakfast at Tiffany's (St. Louis MUNY), Nefertari in The Ten Commandments (Los Angeles), Agnes Ford in Lone Star Love (World Premiere), Mary in Vanities (Pasadena Playhouse/Second Stage Theater), Martha Jefferson in 1776 (Paper Mill Playhouse), and The Witch in Into the Woods (Westport Country Playhouse).

After 15 years at The Town Hall, Scott Siegel's critically acclaimed BROADWAY UNPLUGGED concert event moved to a new address for its 16th season: Merkin Concert Hall. Ratings for the second season premiere of Disney Channel's hit series ANDI MACK (Friday, October 27, 8:00 9:00 p.m.) surged up to 72% over the series launch (April 7) and delivered its #2 telecast to date in Total Viewers (2.1 million), Kids 6-14 (1.1 million/3.1 rating) and Adults 18-49 (502,000/0.4 rating), in Live + 3 day national ratings made available today.

Prince of Broadway, a musical celebration that highlights the extraordinary six-decade career of director and producer Harold Prince, closed just yesterday at MTC's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre, but even if you didn't make it to there show, there's reason to celebrate. BroadwayWorld has just learned that the company is recording a cast album. A release date has not yet been announced.

Harold Prince's revue Prince of Broadway abdicates for the next Broadway show in the works today, October 29, 2017. The show played a total of 91 performances. The limited engagement began performances at the Samuel J. Friedman theatre on August 3, 2017 with an official opening on August 24, 2017.
