Gingold Theatrical Group continues the 14th Season of Project Shaw, Art as Activism: A Theatrical Survival Guide, a special series of evenings of plays that embrace human rights and free speech. All of GTG's programming, inspired by the works of George Bernard Shaw, are designed to provoke peaceful discussion and activism.

Gingold Theatrical Group (David Staller, Artistic Director) will continue the 14th Season of Project Shaw, Art as Activism: A Theatrical Survival Guide, a special series of evenings of plays that embrace human rights and free speech. All of GTG's programming, inspired by the works of George Bernard Shaw, are designed to provoke peaceful discussion and activism.

The Kretzer Piano Music Foundation presented the 4th annual PHYSICIANS TALENT SHOWCASE (PTS) at The Harriet Himmel Theater on August 18. The event attracted more than 400 fans, raising $60,000 that will enable the nonprofit organization to expand its music education programs for children in need. Experience the passion of Les Miserables. For four weeks only (March 10 - April 5), the epic Broadway blockbuster will transform the stage at the Maltz Jupiter Theatre into 19th century France. Survival of the human spirit prevails in this larger-than-life tale of compassion and destruction. Seen by over 70 million people in more than 42 countries, Les Miserables has received over 76 awards internationally, including eight Tony Awards and five Drama Desk awards. The Maltz Jupiter Theatre just wrapped up its production of Fiddler on the Roof - a colorful, reimagined version of the classic Tony Award-winning musical, directed and choreographed by Tony Award-nominated director Marcia Milgrom Dodge. Set in 1905 in the village of Anatevka in Tsarist, Russia, the story follows dairyman Tevye as he fights to maintain his family and heritage. Broadway's Robert Petkoff, who starred as Tevye in the production, just released a series of 1900s-style portraits of the cast, and you can check out the beautiful images below!

Under the guidance of industry professionals at Florida's largest award-winning not-for-profit regional theatre, area students (ages 11 - 19) are spending their summer at the Maltz Jupiter Theatre participating in a free summer mentorship program to produce the show. The show will take place Today, August 24, and will be centrally staged 'in the round' at Lighthouse ArtCenter in Tequesta.

The Little Yellow Diary, set in 1977, is a one-woman musical following a young girl's journey through Girl Scout Indian dancing, record collections, Gone With the Wind, the experience of being cast in her first show, and the discovery of love. This charming story uses the author's actual diary entries from 1977 - when she was 12 years old - and reminds us of innocence, endless possibilities, and hope for the future. The production stars Hobe Sound resident Emily Rynasko, 12.

The Maltz Jupiter Theatre?s Conservatory of Performing Arts (COPA) announces two Spring productions, Les Miserables School Edition and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Auditions were held in January for students from Martin and Palm Beach Counties and over 30 students were selected for each production.
