The 2021 NEA Big Read in San Diego focuses on The Essential Emily Dickinson, poems selected and with an introduction by Joyce Carol Oates. 

Actors' Playhouse and Palm Beach Dramaworks are proud to debut their virtual coproduction of William Luce's The Belle of Amherst today. The show was filmed on PBD's Mainstage, without the presence of an audience, and will be streamed now through April 6, 2021.

The Cincinnati May Festival has announced program details and artists for the 2021 Festival with five performances taking place between May 21 and 30, 2021 at Cincinnati Music Hall.  Principal Conductor Juanjo Mena will conduct two performances each of two separate programs with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra.

Irish Repertory Theatre will present Poetic Reflections: Words Upon the Window Pane, a series of films from the Adrian Brinkerhoff Poetry Foundation (Amy Holmes, Executive Director), featuring poets and actors reading poems from Ireland, the United States and England. 

MRT will return with two new productions – on film – this spring: Dael Orlandersmith’s Until the Flood, based on a series of interviews after Michael Brown was killed by a white police officer in Ferguson, MO, and Rebecca Gilman’s A Woman of the World, an evening with the adventurous woman who introduced Emily Dickinson to America.

On Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at 6:30pm ET, Orchestra of St. Luke's will presents Sounds & Stories: Anna Clyne and Jyll Bradley, a live streamed performance that features two world premieres by composer Anna Clyne - Strange Loops for Clarinet Quintet and Woman Holding a Balance for String Quartet with a film by artists Jyll Bradley and David Ward.
