Lyric Theatre's first Open House event will take place at Lyric's Plaza Theater and at Lyric's Thelma Gaylord Academy & Production Center from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday May, 21.

Lyric Theatre's Thelma Gaylord Academy is presenting a musical showcase to celebrate its 10 year anniversary. Show dates for this 2011 spring production are May 5, 6, and 7 on Lyric's Plaza Theater stage.

Oklahoma City Community Foundation gave Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma a $4,000 grant to help restore and rebuild its website through the foundation's Capacity Building Program.

On September 16, 2010, Lyric Theatre and Thelma Gaylord Academy will present the Nick Demos Merit Scholarship Award to its 2010 award recipient, Adrian Bumpas.

Lyric Theatre and Devon Energy have again partnered to bring interactive, musical theatre into classrooms across the state in a unique program that combines art, history, and entertainment. Devon has supported Lyric's statewide arts outreach program since 2007.
