Produced by Boat Rocker and based on the best-selling book by Hugh Howey, Beacon 23 is returning. Zak Penn (Ready Player One, Free Guy) created the series and executive produces. Glen Mazzara (The Walking Dead, The Shield) and Joy Blake (The Passage, Ghost Whisperer) serve as co-showrunners and executive producers on Season Two.

MGM+, a premium linear channel and streaming service, announced it has picked up the second season of the science-fiction mystery thriller Beacon 23, based on the best-selling book by Hugh Howey. Zak Penn (Ready Player One, Free Guy) created the series and executive produces.

Netflix released the first video teaser for the Scott Pilgrim anime series. The cast includes Michael Cera, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Satya Bhabha, Kieran Culkin, Chris Evans, Anna Kendrick, Brie Larson, Alison Pill, Aubrey Plaza, Brandon Routh, Jason Schwartzman, Johnny Simmons, Mark Webber, Mae Whitman, and Ellen Wong.

 Camerata Pacifica, a chamber music collective renowned for its musical versatility and bold programming that illuminates the limitless scope of the chamber music repertoire, announced its 2023-24 season, its 34th, as well as the appointment of Ana Papakhian, a dedicated arts administrator with 27 years of experience in the classical music field, as Camerata Pacifica’s new Executive Director.

Netflix and UCP confirmed an all-new anime series based on SCOTT PILGRIM (official title to be announced), coming soon to Netflix. Bryan Lee O’Malley, the author and artist of the Scott Pilgrim graphic novel series, and BenDavid Grabinski (Are You Afraid of the Dark?, Happily) serve as executive producers/writers/showrunners.

The American Classical Orchestra (ACO), New York City’s leading period instrument orchestra, has announced its 2022-23 season of four orchestral concerts conducted by Founder and Artistic Director Thomas Crawford, beginning on Thursday, September 22, with the first of three performances at Alice Tully Hall, and continuing through May 18, 2023. The soloists will include soprano Yulan Piao, mezzo-soprano Heather Petrie, tenor Lawrence Jones, bass Joseph Charles Beutel, pianist Petra Somlai, and violinist Rachell Ellen Wong.

Renowned historical performance specialists will perform at GEMS NY on June 26th. Twelfth Night, led by Rachell Ellen Wong and David Belkovski, presents a program of rivalries and feuds in the Baroque.
