Horse Trade Theater Group will present RadioTheatre in the only LIVE ON STAGE performance of KING KONG in the history of the universe! Bringing a blast of winter air to the 4th of July weekend FRIGID New York is presenting a mini-festival with some of its favorite FRIGID artists as well as energetic new Fringe Festival artists from New York and Canada, hand picked by Horse Trade Theater Group (Heidi Grumelot, Artistic Director, Erez Ziv, Managing Director).

La MaMa presents the World Premiere of The Etiquette of Death, a Chris Tanner Production co-directed by Everett Quinton and Julie Atlas Muz, and choreographed by Julie Atlas Muz, with contributions by a slew of New York's finest downtown artists. The Etiquette of Death, the final show of La MaMa's 50th Anniversary season, runs now through July 1, 2012 in a limited engagement at the Ellen Stewart Theatre, located at 66 East 4th Street between 2nd Avenue & the Bowery in New York City. La MaMa presents the World Premiere of The Etiquette of Death, a Chris Tanner Production co-directed by Everett Quinton and Julie Atlas Muz, and choreographed by Julie Atlas Muz, with contributions by a slew of New York's finest downtown artists. The Etiquette of Death, the final show of La MaMa's 50th Anniversary season, runs from tonight, June 14 through July 1, 2012 in a limited engagement at the Ellen Stewart Theatre, located at 66 East 4th Street between 2nd Avenue & the Bowery in New York City. Previews begin tonight, June 14 for a June 16 opening.

Women's Project will end its 34th season with an off-Broadway show of epic proportions when seven playwrights, four directors, three producers and five actors collaborate on one world premiere play titled from the famous Ellen Stewart quote We Play for The Gods. We Play for The Gods stars Annie Golden, Amber Gray, Alexandra Henrikson, Irene Sofia Lucio and Erika Rolfsud. It opens tonight, June 11, at 7:30pm for a run through Saturday, June 23, at the Cherry Lane Theatre, 38 Commerce Street.

The works of the late, iconoclastic downtown theatre star, Warhol favorite and trailblazer of 'glitter rock,' Jackie Curtis will be featured in the dynamic new revue JUKEBOX JACKIE -- conceived and directed by Tony Award winner Scott Wittman and featuring the leading lights of today's downtown scene -- being given its world-premiere production by La MaMa at the Ellen Stewart Theatre (66 E. 4 St.) currently in previews prior to its official press opening Wednesday, May 30.

As part of the "Homecomings" Anniversary Season La MaMa is honoring Ellen Stewart, Harry Koutoukas and Tom O'Horgan. The production will be performed by members of The Great Jones Repertory Company tonight, May 24 thru June 3, 2012 in La MaMa's First Floor Theatre.
