Curve theatre in Leicester has today revealed the full cast of its Christmas musical A Chorus Line, including world famous dancer Adam Cooper and West End and Curve favourite Carly Mercedes Dyer.

It has today been announced that Curve theatre is extending the run of its critically-acclaimed Made at Curve production of the classic musical, West Side Story.

West Side Story is probably one of the most iconic of all musicals. Inspired by Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, the story is set against a backdrop of 1950's Upper West State New York and centres on rival gangs, the Jets and Sharks, and two young lovers who are drawn together from opposite sides of the tracks. Curve Leicester has chosen the Tony Award-winning show for their Christmas production this year.

Curve's production of the timeless Broadway musical West Side Story will be directed by Curve's Artistic Director Nikolai Foster. Ellen Kane, who is currently working on the Universal/Working Title film of Cats and whose previous work includes RSC's Matilda the Musical, as well as co-choreography of the Tony and Olivier Award-nominated Groundhog Day, will be creating new choreography for the production.

Schimmel Center presents the United States debut of Oslo, Norway's Panta Rei Dance Theatre in Lullaby a thought provoking, contemporary metaphor of current international politics on Friday, February 23 and Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. Set to a live score by Norwegian musician and composer Sverre Indris Joner with choreography by Anne Holck Ekenes, Pia Holden and H l ne Blackburn, Lullaby explores the dynamics of mediation between bickering parties and features three young, dynamic male dancers taking a journey through friendship and rivalry set against the backdrop of melodies inspired by lullabies.
