Milwaukee Repertory Theater  concludes the 2017/18 Season with the great American classic, Our Town, a powerful and moving drama, in the Quadracci Powerhouse, running April 10 through May 13.  Directed by Associate Artistic Director Brent Hazelton, this large ensemble brings together some of Wisconsin's greatest theatre talent on one stage to create an Our Town for our town.

THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHTTIME runs through November 12 at Syracuse Stage, and the critics are weighing in!

The Tony Award winner for Best Play, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, is now captivating audiences at Syracuse Stage. This thought-provoking and enthralling production is co-produced with the Indiana Repertory Theatre, where this same cast previously received rave reviews. Impressively directed by Risa Brainin and brilliantly acted, this production is memorable to say the least.

Syracuse Stage brings a deeply moving and engaging experience with the Tony award-winning (Best Play) show 'The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time,' adapted by Simon Stephens from the original novel by Mark Haddon. Milwaukee Repertory Theater is pleased to announce the 2017/18 Professional Training Institute (PTI) ensemble, an advanced actor training program for students in 8th-12th grade who may have an interest in pursuing a career as a professional theater artist.   The 2017/18 PTI ensemble includes Elliott Brotherhood, Juliana Garcia-Malacara-Flynn, Lindsay Gleason, Durran Goodwin Jr., Kamani Graham, Meguire Hennes, Nathan Kabara, Maricella Kessenich, Logan Muñoz, Bradley Nowacek, Reese Parish, Dominic Schiro, Payton Elizabeth Stovall, Kenyon Terrell, Saleaqua Winston, and Mainyia Xiong.  These sixteen students hailing from fourteen different high schools will receive free training from some of the top theater professionals in the world, culminating in a capstone summer performance where they will be employed as paid, professional actors.

Seven world premiere plays seen first by Chicago audiences were among those receiving nominations by The Jeff Awards. 158 nominations in 33 categories honor Chicago Equity theatrical productions that opened between August 1, 2016 and July 31, 2017.
