The Theatre School at DePaul University has announced Creative Root's Canopy Project, offering holistic theatre arts programming at no cost to the community. Drop-in classes and workshops for both youth and adults will focus on creative movement, imaginative play, storytelling, and more.

ABC has greenlit a 12-hour miniseries based on A Slave In The White House. Elizabeth Dowling Taylor's non-fiction novel is a well-researched account Paul Jennings' life and slavery in the 19th century.
