Door Shakespeare Announces Company For Summer Season

Door Shakespeare has announced the company for its 2026 summer season. The nonprofit professional theater performs throughout the summer in the Garden of Björklunden, and will welcome 11 new members, 18 returning arts professionals from previous seasons, and five theater artists making their professional debuts.

Company members will arrive this week from as far afield as California, Colorado, Maryland, and North Carolina, along with Midwest-based company members from Minnesota, Illinois, and, of course, Wisconsin. “Gathering the team is always a rewarding part of the process,” shares Producing Artistic Director Amy Ensign. “These artists lead with generosity, passion, and trust, and that spirit is already shaping the work we’ll be creating together.”

Door Shakespeare’s rehearsal staff and creative team include Jojo Wallenberg, Megan Cvijanovich, Grace Weir, Todd Mion, Jody Sekas, William Gomes, Jana Casey, Audrey Kodalen, Audon Svoboda, Ed DiMaio, and David Foulds.

Actors and understudies include Christian Davis Aldridge, Robert Hunter Bry, Marcus Cunningham, Elizabeth Dowling, Will Gonzalez, Kailey Azure Green, Elizabeth Reese, Angel Rivera, Sara Sadjadi, Ryan Schabach, and Sierra Miguela Tune.

Lexi Praxl returns for her fifth season in the new role of Business Manager. Gabe Anderle is in his second season as Managing Producer, Jack Oleg joins the team as Front of House Manager, and arts administration interns Byrd Gilissen and Ezra Linnan round out the office staff.

Directors Eva Breneman and Suzanne Graff guide the creative process as the season’s directors. Amy Ensign is in her ninth season as Producing Artistic Director.

The 2026 summer season begins June 29 and runs through August 22. "Love’s Labour’s Lost" will be presented Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 7:30 p.m. "The Importance of Being Earnest" runs Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:30 p.m. and Saturdays at 5:00 p.m.

Tickets and information can be found at Door Shakespeare's website or by calling 920-854-7111.
