The company of Broadway's The Visit gathered in the studio today, April 27th, to record the musical's original cast album. The Visit is the final musical ever written by legendary Oscar Award, Grammy Award and Tony Award-winning composer John Kander and his writing partner lyricist Fred Ebb, before Mr. Ebb passed away. Produced by the Emmy Award-winning and Grammy nominated producer Michael Croiter (Matilda, Big Fish, Heathers), The Visit album will be released June 26th, 2015. It was announced today that The Visit, which will open tonight, Thursday, April 23rd as the final musical of the 2014-2015 Broadway season, will record its cast album. The Visit is the final musical ever written by legendary Oscar Award®, Grammy Award® and Tony Award®-winning composer John Kander and his writing partner lyricist Fred Ebb, before Mr. Ebb passed away.

Classic Stage Company, under the leadership of Artistic Director Brian Kulick and Managing Director Jeff Griffin, will present its 2015 annual gala, MUSICAL MASTERWORKS, Monday evening, May 11 at the Hudson Theatre at the Millennium Broadway Hotel (145 West 44th Street, NYC).  Tony Award-winner and CSC Associate Director John Doyle will helm an evening of memorable numbers from iconic American musicals-a rich and vital heritage that CSC has begun to explore with the critically-acclaimed productions of Passion and Allegro.
