New Musical A DOG STORY Officially Barks Off-Broadway Tonight

A Dog Story, (www.ADogStoryTheMusical.com) a new musical with music and lyrics by Gayla D. Morgan (Mary - A Musical) and book by Eric H. Weinberger (Wanda's World), is set to open tonight, November 17, off-Broadway at The Loft at The Davenport Theater (354 W. 45th Street).

A Dog Story, a new musical with music and lyrics by Gayla D. Morgan (Mary - A Musical) and book by Eric H. A Dog Story, a new musical with music and lyrics by Gayla D. Morgan (Mary - A Musical) and book by Eric H. Weinberger (Class Mothers '68 starring Priscilla Lopez), will play off-Broadway at The Black Box at The Davenport Theater (354 W. 45th Street) beginning November 3rd with the official opening scheduled for November 17th. The show is produced by Seaglass Theatrical and co-produced by Waterfront Theatrics and Martha Robinson.

Taryn Manning (Orange is the New Black, Hustle & Flow, Crossroads), Suzzanne Douglas (How Stella Got Her Groove Back, Lifetime's Whitney), Emma Myles (Orange is the New Black, Child of Grace) and Diane Guerrero (Jane the Virgin, Orange is the New Black) star in the upcoming musical theatre mockumentary Happy Yummy Chicken written by Brandon Monokian and directed by Anna Loyd Bradshaw. The film will premiere Sunday, June 5th at the Hoboken International Film Festival at 6pm. The screening will be held at the Paramount Theatre in Middletown, NY.

Amas Musical Theatre (Donna Trinkoff, Artistic Producer) to present the New York premiere of TEA FOR THREE: Lady Bird, Pat & Betty starring Elaine Bromka, written by Drama Desk and Lortel Award nominee Eric H. Weinberger with Ms. Bromka and directed by Byam Stevens. Tea For Three begins performances on May 30 and will celebrate its opening on Monday, June 3 and will run through June 29, 2013 at The 30th Street Theatre (259 West 30 Street). Peterborough Players Announces 2013 Season
