Tomorrow night, Theater Talk will interview Eileen Atkins, the new star of DOUBT on Broadway. Theater Talk, hosted by Michael Riedel and Susan Haskins, airs Friday night (early Saturday morning) at 12:30 AM on WNET, PBS Channel 13.
Ron Eldard, who stars as Father Flynn in the Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning DOUBT on Broadway, will be featured on 'WB11 Morning News' and 'The Tony Danza Show' on Thursday, February 16.
Eileen Atkins, who has mostly recovered from a bad case of the flu, will join Ron Eldard, Jena Malone and Adriane Lenox in tonight's January 17th performance of Doubt
Originally scheduled to debut on Tuesday, January 10th Eileen Atkins will join the show tonight. Ron Eldard, and Jena Malone are expected to follow suit shortly.
DOUBT has broken the house record at the Walter Kerr Theatre for the eighth time, grossing $603,566 for nine performances for the week of December 26-January 1. DOUBT had previously set a record of $550,109 for the week of July 11-17, 2005.
DOUBT celebrated its 300th performance on Broadway this past weekend, with the evening performance on Saturday, December 17. DOUBT began performances on March 9, 2005 and opened on March 31, 2005 at the Walter Kerr Theatre (219 West 48th Street).
Jena Malone will make her Broadway debut as Sister James in DOUBT, the Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning play by John Patrick Shanley, directed by Doug Hughes.
