A sold-out smash-hit by Miami City Ballet in 2013, the vibrant West Side Story Suite returns in celebration of legendary choreographer Jerome Robbins' 100th birthday.

Miami City Ballet's new redesign of the magical George Balanchine's The Nutcracker will feature enchanting new costumes and sets by the designer-artist power couple Isabel and Ruben Toledo, Balanchine's glorious choreography and Tchaikovsky's beloved score.

On November 12, 2017, the Auditorium Theatre held its Annual Fall Gala, honoring Sonia Florian of the NIB Foundation with the second annual Adler and Sullivan Award. Guests attended a cocktail reception and dinner at the Standard Club before proceeding to the theatre for A Golden Celebration of Dance, a performance honoring the 50th anniversary of the theatre's grand re-opening in 1967. The performance featured dancers from Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, American Ballet Theatre, Ballet West, Berlin State Ballet, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, The Joffrey Ballet, MOMIX, New York City Ballet, Parsons Dance, The Suzanne Farrell Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, Vienna State Ballet, and The Washington Ballet.

L'Académie of Dance is proud to announce the appointment of Ballet Master and Artistic Director, Sean Musselman. Musselman studied at The School of American Ballet in New York City. Lourdes Lopez, Miami City Ballet's Artistic Director, has reported that the company's Miami Beach headquarters, its dancers, students and staff are safe and have experienced Hurricane Irma with minimal damage.

The newly created Liberty Hall Dance Festival will be presented on Saturday, September 16th in Union, NJ. The festival was created by Nicole Bugg of Bugg Ballet in partnership with the Liberty Hall Museum at Kean University.
