Legendary Broadway Producer Liz McCann Dies at 90

ELIZABETH IRELAND McCANN, the iconoclastic Broadway producer who won nine Tony Awards during a 60-year career in theater, died after a bout with cancer on Thursday, Sept. 9, 2021 at Calvary Hospital in the Bronx, according to her longtime associate and friend, Kristen Luciani.  She was 90 years old.

Contra Costa Civic Theatre will return to live, in-person Main Stage productions this fall with one of the giants of the American theatre, Thornton Wilder’s Our Town. Invictus Theatre Company Announces 2021-22 Season

Invictus Theatre Company today announced its fifth season of plays, which will open with Shakespeare’s HAMLET, to run October 21 through November 21, 2021. The season will include the 2009 Pulitzer Prize winner RUINED, by Lynn Nottage, from February 17 to March 20; and Edward Albee’s WHO’S AFRAID OF VIRGINIA WOOLF from May 12 to June 12.

After a year of out-of-the-ordinary experiences, Theatre Three's next season is a mix of classic drama, new works, and a celebration of the local talent in DFW. Cherry Lane Theatre, the oldest continuously running Off-Broadway theatre in New York City, has a new owner, it has been announced by Angelina Fiordellisi, the theatre’s Executive Director since having acquired the building in 1996.  Cherry Lane is located at 38 Commerce Street in Greenwich Village.
