Bridges Stage Company to Present Edmund White's TERRE HAUTE, 5/15-6/15

Bridges Stage Company in collaboration with ACT Central Heating Lab presents the Pacific Northwest Premiere of Edmund White's Terre Haute, directed and produced by Aaron Levin. Terre Haute previews May 15th, opens May 16th to June 15th, 2014 at ACT's Eulalie Scanduzzi Space (the "Lalie").

2013 Brits Off Broadway Festival Announced

The critically acclaimed Brits Off Broadway festival, host to the UK's most innovative and provocative theater in New York City, returns for its ninth season of New York premieres of new British theater. Presented by 59E59 Theaters (Elysabeth Kleinhans, Artistic Director; Peter Tear, Executive Producer), Brits Off Broadway launches on Wednesday, March 27 and runs through Sunday, June 30. Christopher Bram Talks Book EMINENT OUTLAWS on THEATER TALK This Weekend, 9/28-10/1

THEATER TALK - Christopher Bram, co-hosted by Michael Riedel of the New York Post and producer Susan Haskins, will premiere at 1 a.m. on Friday, September 28 (2012; early Saturday morning) on Thirteen/PBS, followed in New York City on CUNY TV* Saturday at 8:30 PM, Sunday at 12:30 PM, and Monday at 7:30 AM, 1:30 PM, and 7:30 PM.

Blank Theatre Premieres Michael John LaChiusa Play SUKIE & SUE: THEIR STORY Tonight

The Blank Theatre's world premiere production of Sukie & Sue: Their Story by Michael John LaChiusa, directed by Kirsten Sanderson, was developed last year in The Blank's Living Room Series. Sukie & Sue: Their Story is the only play ever written by LaChiusa, who has received five Tony Award nominations for his musicals. Sukie & Sue: Their Story began previews on April 21, and opening is set for tonight, April 28 at 8pm. The engagement will run through Sunday, June 3.

Rush, Rickman, Shaw & More Set for BAM in 2011

Joseph V. Melillo, executive producer of the Brooklyn Academy of Music, today announced programming for the BAM 2011 Spring Season, which runs from Jan 7 through Jun 11, 2011. The season comprises eight theater, opera, and dance engagements and features BAMcinématek series, BAMcafé Live weekend music events, artist talks, visual art exhibitions, and literary events.

Mike Farrell and Jim Parrack Lead Blank Theatre's TERRE HAUTE Through 11/14

Mike Farrell and Jim Parrack have been set to star in the first production of The Blank Theatre Company's 20th anniversary season, the Los Angeles premiere of Terre Haute by Edmund White. Directed by Kirsten Sanderson, Terre Haute will begin preview performances on Saturday, October 2, 2010 and is set to open on Saturday, October 9 at 8pm. The engagement will run through Sunday, November 14.
