After being in the works at the NBC network for several seasons, Deadline reports that Bryan Fuller's 'Munsters' reboot will most likely not go to series. The project, to be titled MOCKINGBIRD LANE was to be a reworked version of the 1960's classic comedy 'The Munsters.'

Comedian Jeremy Elwood is taking to the stage at The Court Theatre in the world première of new play THE SLAPDASH ASSASSIN. Elwood trades a microphone for a handgun in an Irish comedy 'as black as a pint of Guinness'.

After the critical success of Accidental Death of an Anarchist, Northern Broadsides' resisdent director Conrad Nelson and playwright Deborah McAndrew once again team up to bring their unique brand of Northern inventiveness and humour to the stage with A Government Inspector, a Yorkshire take on Gogol's fantastical satire The Government Inspector. Created in partnership with HarroGate Theatres, the production premieres at HarroGate Theatre from tonight, 7 - 22 September before embarking on an English national tour until December 1st. Syfy is greenlighting Reunion Pictures' new series pilot High Moon, an adaptation of John Christopher's best-selling novel The Lotus Caves, it was announced today by Mark Stern, President, Original Content, Syfy, and Co-Head, Original Content, Universal Cable Productions. Reunion Pictures is producing the 90-minute pilot which is expected to begin production in Vancouver this fall.

TVLine.com reports that Beth Grant has joined the cast of NBC's upcoming Munster's reboot MOCKINGBIRD LANE. The actress joins previously announced cast members Portia DeRossi and Jerry O'Connell as Lily and Herman Munster, Eddie Izzard as Grandpa, Mason Cook as Eddie and Charity Wakefield as Marilyn.

According to Deadline.com, Cheyenne Jackson will guest star in NBC's 'Munsters' re-vamp Mockingbird Lane.

Deadline.com reports that Portia De Rossi has been cast in the role of Lily Munster in NBC's upcoming 'Munsters' reboot MOCKINGBIRD LANE. The actress replaces Mariana Klaveno who had previously been cast in the role.
