York Theatre Company's LOVE, LINDA Concludes Run on 1/5

The York Theatre Company (James Morgan, Producing Artistic Director; Andrew Levine, Executive Director) Off-Broadway premiere of the tour-de-force musical Love, Linda: The Life of Mrs. Cole Porter starring acclaimed jazz vocalist Stevie Holland will conclude its limited engagement Sunday afternoon, January 5, 2014 at The York Theatre Company at Saint Peter's (Entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue).

Preview performance tickets are $15 with performances continuing Aug. 23 and 25. There is a Board Preview performance, Saturday, Aug. 24 at 7 p.m., with $50 tickets that include access to a post-performance reception. Perry Beekman Celebrates CD Release Tonight

For his first CD as a leader, Perry has selected one of the most beloved and prolific of these composers, Cole Porter, for SO IN LOVE - PERRY BEEKMAN SINGS AND PLAYS COLE PORTER. Accompanied by the remarkably empathetic paring of Peter Tomlinson and Lou Pappas on piano and bass respectively, Perry has selected 15 wonderful Porter songs, all but one culled from Broadway musicals made immortal by Porter's genius.
