The Metropolitan Museum of Art and The Cloisters museum and gardens will be open to the public on Presidents' Day (today, February 18), the next in the popular series of 'Met Holiday Mondays.'

Following its widely acclaimed inaugural edition, the groundbreaking Art Wynwood Fair, enthusiastically embraced by the international art dealer community, Miami and the Wynwood Arts District will return for its second year during Presidents Weekend today, February 14- 18, 2013. Art Wynwood will take place in the spacious 100,000-square-foot Art Miami Pavilion, which attracted more than 60,000 attendees during the 2012 edition of Art Miami.

The textile department at the Chicago gallery, Primitive, has announced the creation of a new Custom Rug Program, making it possible for anyone to attain a one-of-a-kind floor covering made to their specifications. The program allows the customer to establish the size, design, knot density and color of the floor covering, and in the process has answered the age old question: When does a rug become a work of art? Glen Joffe, the owner of Primitive, said, "We've taken the uncertainty and ambiguity out of the subject. Even if the customer is not sure what they want, with the assistance of specialists in our textile department, customers can get a true work of art made for them in a timely fashion."

B Street extends nationally acclaimed comedian Jack Gallagher's smash hit show Complete and Unfinished in its intimate B3 space through March 9th. In his newest one-man autobiographical play, Gallagher explores his life through the lens of his search for 'home' and love of music. B Street has already extended Gallagher's show due to overwhelming demand, and now Sacramento patrons have four more chances to enjoy his insightful humor and storytelling.
